The Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council has called for proposals for drug development in four priority areas. The last date for submission is February 29, 2020.
These areas are: (1) Tuberclosis (communicable disease); (2) Cardio vascular diseases; (3) Chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases and (4) Cancer (oral, head and neck, cervical and breast).
All proposed studies must be directed to regulatory submission in India and therefore this Call excludes basic research, studies of disease mechanisms or epidemiological studies. Applications are expected to have defined Milestones and Timelines detailing how the project will move forward with identified key Go / No Go decision points.
